Dermstore Haul

I've never shopped on Dermstore before. I am very pleased with the site. They carry name brand beauty products at very good prices. I received several coupon codes from My Glam and they were going to expire soon. I used the 15 dollars off 30 dollars code I received in April. I got four Essie nail polishes for 18.23! Shipping was free.

I picked up the two colors action and camera at my local Walgreens for 8.00. They are beautiful colors, I think they will be my go to colors for summer. I will definitely be getting the rest of the collection. The colors apply smoothly and dry to a matte finish.

My makeup drawer was a disaster, I would have to take makeup out the night before I would wear it and store it in random boxes in the bathroom. So I took an old magnetic whiteboard that I had, covered it with a leather-like contact paper. I bought magnetic tape from a hardware store and applied it to the back of each product. I soon found out that the adhesive on the tape was not strong enough. Bang! Plop! LOL. All the magnets were still there but the makeup was not! So I then superglued each product again. And presto, I have a clever take on makeup organization.

Entry One

I have finally started a blog. After some coaxing from my husband to start writing again and my friends all twittering their life away, a blog seems the simplest choice for me. Now what to write about? Not sure yet, I'm thinking about making this blog all about beauty finds and bargains I encounter. My friends and family all come to me for beauty advice, so why not share what I know.
